Privacy

This is a personal site, and it’s built to collect as little as possible about you while still letting me understand roughly how it’s used and let you get in touch.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It measures aggregate traffic - things like page views and referrers - without using cookies and without any cross-site tracking. It doesn’t build an individual profile of you or follow you across other sites. If you have an ad blocker or tracker blocker enabled, it likely won’t record your visit at all, which is fine.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the information you enter is sent as an email via Resend, a transactional email provider, directly to my inbox. The site itself does not store your submission in a database - it’s not retained anywhere on the site’s infrastructure after the email is sent. It exists as an email in my inbox, the same as if you’d emailed me directly.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to filter out spam and automated submissions. Turnstile runs a challenge in your browser to distinguish humans from bots; you can find more detail on how it works from Cloudflare directly.

No advertising trackers

This site doesn’t run advertising, doesn’t use advertising or marketing trackers, and doesn’t sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes. There’s nothing here trying to build an ad profile of you.

What this means in practice

In short: visiting this site generates anonymous, aggregate traffic data with no cookies. Using the contact form sends your message to me by email, without it being stored in a site database. Nothing here is used for advertising.
